Well I went down to the reptile show in LA back in July got there early and had a long discussion with Dale Tamura . He really took the time to listen . I showed him the enclosures that I build , jokingly he said what the heck do you need me for ? I threw some ideas at him and he got very interested. So a couple weeks later I threw a wish list at him and after some banter back-and-forth this is what we came up with ! A fully automated habitat with the double door , which can be opened and closed to allow fresh air or trap humidity . One door being acrylic the other being screened and then of course completely open , not to mention One of his custom fogging machines they mist king System and a Herpastat 6 controller , which dim the light regulates the humidity and temperatures and allows for 100% automation .. The only thing I really have to do is feed add water and dump waste water .. these enclosures are amazing . if you’ve got the money without a doubt I highly recommend him . A complete joy to work with!!

Then I got to spend A few hours at his shop when I went to pick it up . He literally walked me through the whole process and we got to spend the afternoon looking at his miniature reptile zoo .. consummate professional

He’s such an awesome guy . Really down to earth and actually cares .. he jumped up pretty high on my list of friends 😊❤️

60 wide 32Deep 48 tall , overall 78 tall with the stand .. it’s pretty amazing 🤩
Ok that is what I thought. Very impressive with the extra depth and width. I love how he is able to do these massive enclosures. I think one of my favorite features of his cages is the built in drainage. Makes a big difference having a water tight enclosure that has drainage built in.

I wish I could update, she’s slowed down a bit at the moment. Her appetite is gone, but still moves a lot. I’m bit nervous about her, but except the eating I can’t find any irregularity……..
Well that’s not what I was expecting , i’m wondering if it’s the typical slow down ? This will be my first winter , and from what I hear 4 to 6 six months is kind a normal . Without much weight loss I even heard Bill mention it The other day . I’ve also heard that from Craig . Hopefully that’s all it is . Boaz has been chowing down . And has made it to 248 g from the 97 when I brought her home. But we’re still in the 80s and 90s here . I’m hoping that’s your only issue ..

I’m hoping the same, and it looks like this could be the problem. She stuck at 250 gr and still drinks when I offer her water. Urates are perfect white, only haven’t poop lately. The ambient temperature in the room has dropped a few degrees and she doesn’t eat from my hand anymore. However, when there’s a sunny day and I put her outside she will almost eat immediately from my hand. Therefore, I’m guessing it’s some seasonal change. It’s not she isn’t eating, but just wayyy less then before. Still it bothers me big time😕

The only thing I really have to do is feed add water and dump waste water .. these enclosures are amazing . if you’ve got the money without a doubt I highly recommend him . Dale really thrives on a challenge! And there is nothing he can't create. And so meticulous with all the automation. With mine I have the 5 gallon bucket underneath. Getting ready to add a barrel to hold more water and reduce maintenance.

Well I’m completely surprised I caught up in weight , but with an average around 300 or so I think we’re both in there . My wild caught Boy is doing the same thing .. i’m going to think it’s a seasonal thing . But I’ll continue to hit you up on Updates it’s nice to have someone to bounce situation‘s off of ..
