Well... yesterday Waldo figured out how to get out of his enclosure. We came home from an early morning fishing trip to find him hanging onto the blinds. I got him down and put him in his enclosure and he refused to stay in. He kept scratching the screen, pushing on it etc.

So I have some left over wood from an old project, still in really good condition. And I have this other project that was going to combine the 2 enclosures that was suppose to get started this weekend but didn't. So since he's already not liking his enclosure of 27x27x48, I know that binding the whole 24x48x48 divided to 2 chams isn't going to work. Would this work better? Making him a huge 24x48x48 enclosure for just him. Then making Kayla one completely separate an in the kitchen. He also climbing the screen so would hardware cloth on the inside work better?

Also if I do this this at 24x48x48 do I need 2 basking spots?

I think it would be great and the bigger the better! And I don't think you have to have two basking areas, but with a cage that big it sure would not hurt to have more than one. If it were me, I would have a couple areas to bask for sure.

Thank you Carol!

Since I have this extra wood I'm going to do the enclosure and stand completely separate from each other ad turn the base into my beardie enclosure.

Then with Kaylas enclosure its going be a little smaller since she is smaller. I was thinking 20x24x48 which should be plenty big I hope.
