Waxworms ? how do you guys feel about Waxworms ? My little guy seems to love them and it is all the pet store near me had. What are they good for ? etc ?

Waxworms are a nice for a bit of variety to a cham's diet, but they should not be offered as a staple feeder. They are very high in fat, and thus should only be fed as a treat to the cham.
Some keepers have reported that their chams get 'addicted' to wax-worms, and may even reject other feeders after eating wax-worms for a while. So use them sparingly.

There is some interesting information about wax worms and calories in the article, A Bugs Nutrition. The article suggests that wax worms can be used to add weight to a sick or underweight chameleon.

Yeah all lizards love waxies but too addictive. It's like eating mcdonalds everytime your hungry...

On the plus side they are so easy to breed and you get hundreds from a small amount and very little effort is needed.

how do you breed them? my yemens love them but like you say they seem to give up on other food now!
