Veiled Chameleon Breeding Question...

I currantly have a female veiled chameleon who has many many time shown her robin egg blue spots, she is approx. 9 months -1 yr. old. I also have a male veiled the same age aprox.
my question is...how long when placing the female into the males terrarium do I leave them together for? I tried to place them together today and the female was her normal green tones and even changed to her robin egg blue spots at times. The male was very receptive with his bright yellow and green coloring. The female was not aggressive however played only a chnce game and and the male climbed on her she did not allow him to succeed and walked away. They stayed their mating colors and the male attempted again? After awhile a removed the female and figured to try again another day? How lond should i keep them together and is there something more I can do? is she ready? or so i just leave them together for a few hours? how long does it normally take? please help! Thanks

Gravid

I usually leave my girls in with the boys until she goes gravid. I have had where they mated once and she turned and went gravid right away. I have also had a girl in with the boy for over a week before she went gravid. They mated numerous times each day. Then one day I looked over at the cage and she was swaying with mouth open, and black!!!

CP is right. It all depends. Leave them in until she is pissed and black!
