Two-week update: Heisenberg's colors

Hey folks, Heisenberg seems to be enjoying his new pad and doing well, eating crix and getting well-hydrated. And had his first shed with me!

I think I'm starting to get the hang of his moods but I'd like to get any thoughts from more experienced cham owners on what his colors mean. Heisenberg is a Nosy Be but he's showing a wide array of colors so I'm unsure what his "flare up" color is at this point.

My only other concern is that sometimes he's a little wobbly when walking around. He's gotten a lot less so since he's become accustomed to his environment, but I noticed it again last night when I let him crawl on my arm (first handling attempt ever). I think he's just scared but any thoughts would be appreciated. He's about 4.5 months.

Thanks to all on the forums for such great advice!

p.s. he's drinking in the second pic

From my very limited experience I would suspect he is stressed in the last pic. At least, those are the markings my Vield makes when she is throwing a tantrum (usually during misting)

thanks for the input - that's my thought as well, and that photo was taken right after a heavy misting.

what I DON'T get, though, is why he goes to a pale green or light blue during other stressful times. The one time I handled him he was obviously frightened, (stiff body, eyes locked on me, raised spine) yet peacefully light pale green and blue.

I think its hard to gauge their mood, we are still trying to accurately detect Athena's moods as it seems colouring doesn't always reflect her mood.

Sometimes when i first enter the room she hides in her Ficus tree, yet still displays a nice lime green colouring.

One thing is certain though, she is grumpy in the morning. Its the only time i see her puff her neck up. Its usually cured by feeding her breakfast though :)

Nice pics .. you have a good looking guy :) .. well I also have a baby pabther and I havent figured out about what his stressed colors are . Cause when I mist him he kind of run away but he stays really light colored hehe .. so well will figired out later ..

thanks Jorge! Yup, the only things I know for sure at this point are 1) he is terrified of me and 2) he's not a big fan of misting.

hopefully he'll ease up on point #1...

Been a month and a half since the last update so here are a few new pics!

7 month(ish) update

H-berg is now around 7.5 months old! And still absolutely despises me/the camera!
