Hey everyone! I've had Apollo (veiled chameleon) with me since saturday (he's about 3 months old) and he seems to be enjoying exploring his new home. Today he finally went for some crickets that I gave him, which was nice, never seen a chameleon strike in person, I think i might get addicted to watching it!
Now for the real question:
So, the manager (who breeds veiled chameleons) sold me some repti calcium without d3 and she said that I should dust every feed.
I also bought some reptivite with d3 and was told to dust 2 times a week while Apollo is still young and change to 2 times a month when he's adult.
She also told me that since reptivite has d3 on it, I wouldn't need to buy calcium with d3, i should just mix the reptivite and the repti calcium.
Is this correct? I left the store believing that she knew what she was talking about, and seems like a decent supplementation plan, but I'd like to hear the opinions of the other experts.
It's my first chameleon and I really dont want to mess it up!
Cheers,
Nuno
