Question supplement d3 question

I have a 5 month old panther chameleon . Im using d3 every other day and herptivite once a week. Do I need to cut back on the d3 and use calcium with out d3 sometimes ? Chameleon is indoors no outside cage yet.

Calcium w/D3 only needs to be used 2 times per month and a multi vitamin only once a month. Calcium with NO D3 5 times per week. Gutloading your feeders is the key to keeping a healthy chameleon. You shouldn't rely solely on supplements. Check out this link for info on gutloading: http://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs...utloading.html This link helps understand supplementing: http://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs...pplements.html Are you using a UV light?

It depends what BRAND of calcium+D3 you are using. They are all different. Some have Considerably more D3 in them than others. Some have vitamins that could be harmful in higher or frequent doses.
