Subsitute for Hydroton
I can't find hydroton anywhere and I don't really want to order it. Are there any subsitutes for it that works just as well?

Well, I asked the same question, there isn't really a subsitute. It absorbs water and lets it back up and creates humitity. Here are two links.
http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...-clay-pebbles/ http://www.amazon.com/Hydroton-Grow-...5971006&sr=8-1 To tell you the truth, I would buy the 10L because its more of it and its cheaper. But if you don't have a Amazon account you can use the first one. Hope this helps. LPR08 |

You don't want to pay overnight shipping for it. Priority Mail should work just fine since you'll have it in two days.
I have some to sell, but don't have any "official" bags for it yet.

Hmm, I wonder, but since the Hydroton is Clay? Is brick made out of clay?

It's not. Hydroton is lightweight expanded clay aggregate. (LECA on the dart frog forums.) My fifty pound bag of it takes up a lot more room than fifty pounds of bricks.
