How much does the first chameleon in the pic weigh? He looks huge! What are the temps in and the humidity in there? I live in Florida where I would imagine it would be way too hot to have one of those. I don't think there are many keepers who have a greenhouse. You might be the only one!

Jeremy I'm angry with you!!!:) I've always liked the Deremensis but until now and after seeing yours I must have some!!!:D You have just contributed to my ADDICTION. WOW THAT IS ONE FANTASTIC LOOKING CHAM.

I have not weight him in a while. For my chameleons Spring check up I can post his weight. Charles is a big adult male Trioceros deremensis whom I have kept for a long while now.

I keep the conditions in the greenhouse for montane species since I want to breed Parsonii. I would not consider keeping a Veiled Chameleon in my greenhouse with the conditions I have provided. However the humidity is always above about 70 to 75%. My greenhouse is kept under the cover of trees. Meaning that the location prevents the greenhouse from cooking and acting as an oven as if it were in a location where it would receive direct sunlight.

There are a couple other that have got greenhouses. However they do not post as much as me. One is Jim from the Chameleon Company. Jim lives in Florida.

You may want a Trioceros deremensis from the first pictures. However if your a fan of the species this is going to make you jealous. The males and females display as Charles does as seen above. However they are capable of displaying this way and is when I think they are at their best:D. They show a tie dye color similar to Trioceros quadricornis. However they show this with polka dots along with the tie dye coloring. I say they are spectacular that way!

Ah Jeremy you have lovely creatures!! I did not know about the mt meru. I am hoping a couple people on the forum will each sell me one so I can have a pair.

I enjoy deremensis, but elected to sell all of mine. I could link to my thread showing the babies when they are blue. Well why not?

I have got more specifically lovely Trioceros. There are a lot of good species to choose from that genus. It is great that there is a group of experienced keepers working with groups of west African Trioceros quadricornis, including you. I am a huge fan of T. deremensis and am probably always going to work with the species. As my brother and I grew up as friends to Ed Martinez who was one of the first if not the first recognized breeder of Trioceros deremensis (CIN publications).

I need a male Meru over here, lol Great pics Jeremy. I miss my Deremensis pair but they went to a good home in FL. The spots they can show when they are angry are spectacular.

Wow, very nice. Have you by any chance started a thread on her with details on how you control temps. and humidity in your greenhouse?

Thanks
Jason

They look great Jeremy!

Carl

Thanks Carl.

Nice Jeremy. I didn't know you had a Meru. You need some females over there. :)

Yeah I have got one. A female is definitely in the works for Winston.

Thanks. Trioceros deremensis are great!
