I was playing around with my camera today and since I finally feel like Isis has turned a corner and has *almost* recovered from her 'Isis Crisis' from before Christmas, I decided some new pictures were in order.

I have a couple of my little girl

cuties! whats wrong with the "old mans" eyes? permanent?

Yes, unfortunately it's permanent. He developed an eye infection as a young man and it was resistant to antibiotics, many different times. Depending on the day, I often have to run him under the mister as soon as lights are on, just so he can clear the goop and see when in his age! Due to his eye problems he's been unable to self feed so I hand feed him every 2 - 3 days. Other than the eyes he's been a stellar chameleon - I LOVE him to bits!! :)

omg, what an awesome ChameleonMom you really are! sad but amazing story.. someone had to be there for him.. he's lucky its you. and now that he's an "old man" they almost fit him.. if he was a person anyway, i'd say they certainly make him look like an older gentlemen :)

So good to see Isis coming around and look how pretty she is, she obviously knows it, that second picture she is like....I did not say it was time for my photo shoot :). Camo is a very handsome man as well!! Thanks for sharing!

Little grassy here!!!!
hey i love the pics. love both of your chameleons too. sorry to hear about your male though. at least he's doing well right? that's all that matters :)

Great to see Isis doing so much better! I think your boy looks GREAT! He has a lot of character after his ordeal and that makes him that much more special! ;)

Thanks everyone! I am pretty happy with my crew these days! For all of Camo's eye problems and hand feeding, I have to say he's been the least high-maintenance chameleon I've owned! He's a pretty healthy guy and I have seen some improvement in his condition since introducing a drop of preformed Vitamin A in his supplement schedule every 15 days. As for Isis, she is slowly improving after her issues surrounding her last clutch and subsequent spay. I am still giving her 0.1cc's of calcium gluconate every day to help build her bone density after her medical scare, but she is improving every day and that makes me a very happy Cham Mom indeed! ;)

You don't get much Bob Dylan on youtube.......Sony are very good at removing it.......anyway, I thought Isis might like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ak5xlX3DaTU :D

Haha! Love me some Bob Dylan!! David, Isis and I thank you! :D

Wow...is that the same Isis? She looks so much better!!!!! :D

Julia, I know, right?? She's doing a lot better now! A couple days after picking her up she seemed puffy and mopey and her right foot appeared swollen and misshapen again, so last Saturday I started a regime of 0.1cc's of calcium gluconate liquid daily and in just one week I cannot believe the difference in her! She happy, exploring again, the puffiness is virtually gone and she appears more upbeat and feisty! She tried to bite me yesterday...I just smiled at her and said, "that's my girl!" :)

It's great to have her back to normal! (knock wood!)
