My 10 mo. female panther just finished laying her first clutch of infertile eggs. She covered them and now is chilling in the basking light. What kind of special treatment should i give her, if any? And when is it ok to dig them up and check them out? also when it ok to breed her? If anyone can answer my question, i would greatly appreciate it. thanks-Noe

make sure she has plenty to eat dusted with calcium and plenty to drink. Do dig them up to see how many she has had. She will be ready for breeding probably within three months but if you can wait about 6 monts just to let her ecover but it is upto you

peace & quiet along with good hydration are key elements in her recovery, if shes interested in food offer her favorite feeders gutloaded as usual. maybe up your supplement schedule for the next few days as well. as far as the eggs go, if they are infertile dig them out any time you like. congrats on a job well done!

I give liquid calcium after laying. If you don't have liquid calcium then dust heavy with plain calcium dust....no d3 for then next couple of days then go back to her regular feeding and dusting.....everyother day or 3 times a week. You shouldn't breed until she's over a year old and since she just laid I'd wait 6 months as Bradley said.
