    Chameleon fell :(

    I'm not entirely sure but could it be possible that chameleons drop from their branches when frightened in an effort to escape? I'm pretty sure this is a myth but it came to mind as I was reading this thread but one would think the chameleon would be hard-wired with the knowledge in its mind...
