Yea there’s definitely area where he can go where it’s cooler but he just sits at the top of his branches right under the light. He’s really green in the morning and when I feed but then turns dark so I feel like I’m doing something wrong or something is stressing him out.

The basking area should be around 82 and everywhere else should be around 79. I have the basking branch around 9 inches from the bulb. The branches that he tends to sit on are right under the uvb bar.

Here’s another photo from this morning. kind of confused as well since he was so green when his lights came on and when I took him outside. I’d imagine he’d turn pale from being handled not from being put back into his enclosure.

Here’s what I’m working with now. I ran a branch under the uvb that should be around 9 inches. I also added some more horizontal branches in the back and lower in the enclosure. I used a few zip ties but cut it close and melted it down.
