I saw her once going down to the substrate a few days ago. I work 8 hours. I have a 5-finger deep substrate where she can dig. I just now covered the entire cage to give privacy.
bee feeding her 3-4 ever 3 days.
Hello everyone,
I've got my veiled chameleon for 3 months now.
She is a female and if math does not fail me she is 7 months.
So why am I here? Well, last Friday I wanted to add more green and climbing plants for my girl. So I moved stuff around the cage and placed everything I wanted.
She has...
Hello my name is Lucas, my food for the chameleon just arrived and it came with some sus subjects. I’ve been seeing some of this worms in the package are they good or bad?
Dont have a garden but I’ll go look for it. There’s this big park in Alkmaar I might go there. But for that I need to treat it after right? Something like placing it in the freezer for a few days to kill every bacteria.
Besides I would also like to talk to you since you have more experience...
Well sonny I found on Amazon Germany for 124€ bit expensive but I had money saved just for this so it’s ok. Cancelled the 40x40 .
Then once everything is here I’ll prepare so I will just need to go grab her.
Im gonna use a 40x40x76 mesh enclosure… my idea is leaving the top and front mesh open all the other sides are gonna get covered. Gonna cover the sides with measured acrilic plaques. Then do the decorating and stuff. Ik also ofc make water proof every side at the bottom.
The things I’m gonna buy from the store is her and basquing light dome. And some plants for the enclosure. The rest is all order bc it’s cheaper online. The soil, cage, uvb light…. Food (going for steep crickets and meal worms) but I might change the crickets if they are to much trouble to keep...
So basically mean she need soil to burrow her eggs (even tho they are not fertilized). My enclosure for is going to be a bioactive one with actual soil in it. I guess I can place enough for her to burrow. Would that work?
I promise I’ve read everything I should do and make for their better care. Didn’t saw anything on the laying bin…. All I saw was that if the enclosure gets warmer the body of the female will start producing eggs . Like a bunch of them and she gets egg bound. That’s I know. How could I make it...

I am looking for breeders in the Netherlands, of course, because I want to get a chameleon to make company in the house and waste my time on him xD.
So I went to an exotic shop in Amsterdam, and they have a 4-month veiled chameleon. She seems so pretty I would love to...
