Bioactive vivarium for my panther “Trip”

Awesome I am just finishing mine up as well. Someone gave me a great tip to have him tested for parasites before putting him in the bioactive cage since you would have to throw everything away if he is positive and a lot of them come from the breeder with something. I recommend if you haven't...

    Size of rack for 24x24x48

I have recently purchased a cage that is 24x24x48 and I'm having a hard time finding a good rack that will fit it. Has anyone used a stand of wire track that is only 18" deep. Finding good options wide and tall enough is not a problem. I found a used wire rack that is 36"w x 18"d x 72"h. Will...

Mistking V4 or Upgrade to V5

From Josh's Frogs website: Improved timer electronics. Timers now have a 3 times higher electronics rating which better equips the timers for dealing with power outages and high inductive demand of MistKing pumps. This should improve system failure rates and add to MistKing reliability...

Mistking V4 or Upgrade to V5

I am about to purchase my MistKing and I noticed you can buy either version. Is the V5 worth the extra money? It's not that much money, but i hate spending money for no real reason. Has anyone gone from a V4 to a V5 or had issues with the parts that were upgraded in the V4 version.

I have been looking at him, but I am in Southern Cal and it is just too far to drive. It's 6 hours each way and the cost and time involved makes it no longer worth it.

Would this small animal cage work for Chameleon

I ended up ordering the 24x24x48 from DIYCages.com. It seemed like the safe bet, then I will get dragon ledges added too. I am considering doing a bioactive bottom since I don't have the chameleon yet so that can get settled weeks before I add an animal. Still researching the best way to do that...

Would this small animal cage work for Chameleon

I live in coastal San Diego, so we have an average humidity year round of 60%ish so I don't think it will be an issue getting his cage up to the right humidity with a mister and plants in an all screen cage. But I will probably just go with the Zoo Med for now, then if I want to build something...

Would this small animal cage work for Chameleon

FYI, I have the cat house from this company and we added a coat of Polyurethane and we have kept it outside for years, so I think the wood could be made to handle the humidity.

Would this small animal cage work for Chameleon

I have been looking at getting another chameleon and as I have been looking at cage options and buy vs build, I can across this cage for hamsters. It actually seems like it would work if I took out the ladders and hiding house. This cage even has a plastic drip tray under the cage for easy...
