Thank you! I will try that. We're just feeding her the crickets from Petsmart right now. Are they banded crickets?
We have just a chameleon right now and she's 4-5, (maybe younger) and she eats 8-10 crickets a day and lots of kale (she will jump for it if she's hungry, it's hilarious)
So my mom and I would both like to know if theres a place where we can get crickets online thats got a good reputation. I looked at Flukers but they had a few bad reviews about their crickets. What do you guys recommend?
Oh ok thank you! And the door isn't drafty. It's actually quite warm there and the vent doesn't blow on her.
And the calcium has D3 and vitamins a in it.
As for the waterfall I wash it frequently because of that problem. Every few days I take it out, rinse it thoroughly with hot water, and I...
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - She is a 4-5 month old (might be older or younger, I don't have an exact age) veiled chameleon. We've had her for about a week.
Handling - We hand-feed her almost every day and we are getting her used to our hands and us but no actual handling yet.
Feeding -...
Ok. It gets to about 70F at night. Will it hurt her to have a heating pad above the cage to at least hear her a little? She seems pretty misrible (she's turning dark green and kinda restless)
Our heating bulb broke (thanks a lot little brother...) and we won't be able to get a new one until tomorrow. Our house is kinda chilly and she's already starting to get cold. What should we do? Should we put a heating pad in/on top of the cage? Cover the cage? She is a 4-5 month old veiled...
We got a new waterfall for our chameleon for her to use to drink (and yes I know bacteria and mold can grow if left uncared for, I'm going to clean it regularly) but it has two wires that need to run out of the cage. Right now they're simply going under the bottom door but we need a permenant...
I offered them some lettuce along with the cubes and they're eating all of it. XD I'm gonna keep the cubes for now since we still have a whole container of them left but I'll feed them fresh veggies too. They seem to be enjoying them.
So today I redid all the containers for the superworms and the crickets. I added aspen shavings bedding to all the containers and gave the worms a bigger container. I also set up a seperate one for the worms to gutfeed them. How does it look?
