    Stevie showing off. Smh.

Sometimes Steve likes to press his junk against the glass for a good hour. He doesn't glass surf, just presses it on up there and literally does a back stand until he falls backwards. It's just odd. He cracks me up. I think he has hit puberty.

Woke up one shedding, and the other laying.

He has been rubbing and scraping on this bush all afternoon. It's so sweet watching him. Relaxing too. I really am already attached to him. He has hand fed 4 times now. Sweet baby boy.

Woke up one shedding, and the other laying.

Halting is what I was going for. I'll try a different route this time around and try smaller feeders every other day verses the large ones. I want her to live longer. She is a veiled. These were taken not too long ago. Two weeks or three weeks. She wasn't overweight like before.

Woke up one shedding, and the other laying.

Her lights are in the very low 80's, and iv been reducing her feeders. Large feeders 3x a week. Her first clutch was 47. I really was only expecting to find 20 or so. She didn't seem that big. However, these eggs are very tiny compared to her last clutch where the eggs were considerably larger...

Woke up one shedding, and the other laying.

50 eggs this morning. Found Frita in her bin sitting like a champ. Sure enough there they were at the dead bottom. Bob looks pretty crunchy this morning as he is starting a shed. Usually nothing is going on with my reptiles this morning was a nice change. :) Just curious, is it normal for...

    The Great Grand Experience

Here is broke bar after his flight to Georgia. I picked him up from the fedex facility around 9, and we had a hour drive back. First thing we did when we got home was try out his fig tree in the sun and had a long misting. 1500 crickets in his size arrived this morning so he is about to eat. He...

    Knats.

I have 2 large umbrella plants in Fritas enclosure and over the last two weeks iv noticed an increase in knats, fruit flies possibly. Are they in the plants? If this is the case do I need to trash the plants :( I hate disturbing her enclosure and Home Depot is currently out of fig and umbrella...

Phetven is on his way!! My new Italian leatherback!y

My big guy shed. My god was he moody, yikes. Didn't want to be touched at all, gaping, and snipping. He just finished today. He is really spikey too, looked annoying. He was all dry and crunchy with huge parts falling off. So glad it's over.

    Not pooping as much normal?

Frita is almost a year and her poops are happening about 1x every 2 weeks. And they are massive. Is this normal? Could she be too cold? I'm keeping her at 80 on the dot. Her last poo was literally as long as my pinky finger. The urate too. Just weird.

No more clutches is the goal.

So, after Frita's first clutch, 40+eggs, I have begun this week giving her 2-3 big feeders every other day, and keeping her at 80 degrees. Is this okay since she is not a year yet? I do not want to put her through difficult clutches, and I feel partially responsible for the huge clutch she just...

What the heck is this !?!

Letting Anthony go next month in April . His tail is all grown back, he is fattened up and is ready to venture back into suburbia. Though I'm taking up into the north ga mountains on a hike with my son. I hope he makes it. I'm going to miss him :(
