i put a drop of Jojoba oil on Tobias when he had a piece of skin that wouldnt come off for 3 weeks. it worked great!

congrats! How old is your veiled? at what age did she first lay? I think I too have a female veiled and I just put a egg laying bin in her cage.

I usually shower my Tobias for about 15 min with warm water in the shower when I rekon theres gunna be'a sheddin'.

about dist water being unhealthy, I got a distiller about 3 months ago. The water tastes great! As for it being unhealthy, living in the 21st century I think we don't absolutely need the trace minerals found in tap or ro water. Most of the food items we consume are not made with good water...

Well I'm away from home now so pix will have to wait . She has been eating less for about 4 days, but yesterday afternnon after a 15 min shower she exploded into full body shed. She has been very very thirsty lately. I'm assuming its from being ready to shed? I'll snap some more pix...

Ok, I just spent the morning setting up her laying bin. Its 11"high, 12" round plastic terracota plant thing. I washed play sand, clogged my sink, and put it in her cage. now just wait? She seems so little to be laying eggs...

So update, I gave tobias a good 30 min shower, and now he seems like he is going to shed! so maybe his ill temper was because he was going to shed. Im still not sure on his sex.

Maybe A sexual ? Or sterile? Is that possible ?
