my veiled chameleon Carlos has slight swelling on his casque. its not like massive bulges but is pokes out enough to notice. it's soft like a leopard gecko's tail. is this bad:confused:
he also has a cut running below the ridge of his casque for like a 1/2 inch that he made with his hind...
I've been planning on getting a Savannah for some months now, and all i have to do is wait until the expo in april. i was wondering if anyone else had one or was thinking about getting one.
i went to the portland 06 expo on the 27th and it was horrible! all they had were snakes and a few geckos. the biggest lizards they had there were some baby tegus! i was so anticipating it too.
does anyone bring their chams out for the day. i took carlos's cage out today and he seemed to enjoy it, he turned all celery green lie when he sleeps, and i think i might be doing it more often.
i feed mainly mealworms. the supplements i use dont stick as well to the worms as they do to the crickets, and i only feed crickets every 4-5 days. is there an alternative so that carlos still gets his calcium+supplements without my spending of extra money on crickets.
