is it ok for my sambava to chow down on a pothos plant??cause he seems to like it...

Pothos for the most part is safe. However, POTHOS-Epipremnum aureum although technically non toxic they do contain noticeable levels of oxalate crystals. These crystals cause pain when eaten and it is debatable if they should be used with omnivourous species. Personally, I use pothos and have never had a problem. I have even had a sambava that liked to eat it and he never got sick.

Pain? I thought they just bound to the calcium to prevent it from being absorbed properly.
