Rango Shed :D

got in from outside yesturday and noticed rango starting a shed yay !
misted him down a bit to help with the shed, and woke up in the morning and he was eating his dead skin haha

What's that red light? Is that in his cage during the day?

yes its in during the day for now my normal basking bulb burnt out soo this is what i have resorted to till i get the proper bulb... and its not left on during the night either

Ah okay... Try a regular house bulb at like 60 watts... Cheap ad works great... I use them for both my cages.. They heat up just fine and aren't all fancy schmancy

yeah there is no need to spend $8 on a "reptile basking bulb" all it does is provide heat which is provided with a standard household bulb which is like $.50...if you need to adjust the temp you just put in a different wattage bulb
