Photo shoot - many photos

Decided to have a photo shoot today with everyone I could get to cooperate.

Starting with my lovely Oozle - the glamour girl.


More Oozle - she sees I have a cricket!


She gets the cricket!

Gus. My old man. He had the burns on his casque and back when we got him. He is also missing his tongue.


Our newest - Princess Toadstool AKA Toad. She looks like a fat little toad! Was lucky enough to get her from a fellow forum member and already are crazy about her.

Penelope. She looks fat in this photo because, well, she is a chubbers! No signs of eggs but we're watching her.


Trogdor. Not sure why he has that kink in the end of his tail.


Mouse. She says no thanks to photos.

i have a concern thought.. you said this on one of your photos
Penelope. She looks fat in this photo because, well, she is a chubbers! No signs of eggs but we're watching her

that looks like gular edema and if she is gravid (by the sounds of it your expecting), than it is very quite possible, and almost common. a vet should be consulted if it gets worse. watch your supplimenting, and if she is intaking way more calcium than a multivitamin, than up her multivitamin a little bit more, or feed her a small pinky mouse.

i've done this when my girl was vitamin defficient the first time she was gravid. a pinky and a small up dosage rep-cal herptivite, things cleared up great.

again though, let it go on a bit. kiwi had a very bad case in which i had to treat to a different degree. just see if it goes down first and evaluate her supplimenting now

Wheres the Mellers? I saw that Jackson's you picked up from Craigslist. I saw that add when it was posted and was very tempted but I figured, Jackson's or Meller's and Meller's won. But i'm still awaiting the right one. Very Nice Pictures.

Thanks but not to worry - she is feisty and was puffing up at me. (she's a biter too) That along with the angle makes it look like edema - which is what I thought when I saw the photo! From a normal view she doesn't look like that.

The melleri were on their free range watching the proceedings but declined to participate today. They looked so regal and relaxed I didn't want to move them!

I'm glad you passed on the Jackson's - I really like him - and we love his new girlfriend!

Im glad I passed him up too. I was really scared he would go to an un fit owner. But, he didn't.

I have a Canon 5D - love it! I used a Tamron 28-75 lens with it for these shots.

And yes, Toad is a real sweety. I got lucky with her for sure.

Thank you! Gus is a character. He is very mellow and gentle. Veiled are still my favorite and we got lucky getting some great ones.

I love the green chams - mellers are too cool but the little green horny buggers are just so cute and so curious and active. I am surprised that they aren't more popular - especially the k multi.

His owners were very cool and unique and very much concerned that he get a good home. So far we're doing good!
