My panther has started to really enjoy misting time. He comes to the front of the cage for all the action. He loves to just come and say hi now and I did not make him that way and not sure why he has become such a great guy. I never expected it but welcome it:p

those are great photos and i think its really cool that your cham really likes his mistings. my veiled is starting to warm up to them, he is still young tho keep up the good work

LOL! 2nd to last pic looks like he has a "banana hat" on!:D

Yes, he surely looks content! Tail curled, eyes closed - and then shoots his silkie with his eyes closed? Cyrus (panther) sits under his dripper and humidifier and gets all misty like your guy, too. I use a Misty Mate on Darwin (beardie) and he LOVES it! I see you have a bd, too - is he a water hog?

All are great pics! Love the one with just one eye open. The position of the tail and the way he is standing on the branch makes me think of a baboon! haha!!

LOL it does look like a bananna hat. He is very content and complete opposite of my veiled who is nothing but problematic.
He keeps his left eye closed most of the time. He is blind in that eye and his ointment is kinda sticky and he keeps it closed for the most part.
T-Rex my panther is a water hog but Irwin my BD hates baths, greens, misting, dropping and anything water related.:D

ROFL! lele said exactly what was on my mind! For a minute i thought he was a rare and endangered banana casque'd chameleon, but then i realized he was wearing a stylish banana hat! I love these pictures, especially the banana hat one. :)

Wearing Diamonds.....

The photos make it look like he is wearing diamonds all over his body. Very cool water drop shots :)

How did he lose sight in his eye? Was it recent so that you have to keep ointment on it all the time? Must be messy :( Cyrus punctured his eye globe last year from rubbing due to excessive dry eye. Long story, but he ended up having a "thing" clipped off his eye. He has a little scar and his skin is sort of puckered but he has gained about 95% range of motion and shoots (and misses!) just as well as any other cham! Your poor guy :( How has he adjusted?

Funny about your bd! Darwin LOVES his bath! He closes his eyes and does the gangsta' lean, nods off and falls over! lol! On the bd forums it seems that a lot of dragons love their baths, funny that your guy hates water! Darwin is really bad about eating his greens, too. Right now I am feeding him baby food and repta-aid combo out of a "baby bottle" (made from an albon bottle) trying to fatten him up before brumating! He drives me nuts - but I love him!

I got him with his eye injured. The previous owner is not sure how it happened and thought it might heel but its a loss. He has no sight but moves it as if he is using it. I have to make sure I put his food in front of him and he is a very good eater so it does not sit there long. He eats mostly sikies and horn worms. He will catch an occasional cricket but prefers his worms. He is a special guy and couldn't have asked for a better "FREE" panther. Yes, I got him for free because the guy just wanted to make sure he was going to get the special care he needs.
His eye is a total gonner but he gets ointment to keep it moist and infection out. He lets me put his oint in his eye and just stands there. It must feel good. If I don't put it in it gets red and he rubs it non stop on his vines. I keep it lubed up.
He is a really neat cham and wish all of my kids were that cool.
Thanks for the complements. He is a beautiful cham but his head for some reason is starting to get a shape of a butt. I may take him in to make sure its not swelling due to his eye or something???

My beardie has been brumating for almost three days. He came out to bask today and did not eat much but let me give him like 6cc of water through a syringe and he drank it down. That is the first time ever he has accepted water readily. I am going to try and keep him up and fatten him up some more but he will not eat. He wont even touch silk or horn worms:confused:
