I got my chameleon a few days ago and at first he seemed fine now however he seems to be a bit wobbly and and he walks he looks like hes shaking. Is this normal, he is eating and drinking fine and his eyes look normal and alert. Any help would be appreciated.

Conratulations on this new member of your family!

Cage Info:
Cage Type - the cage is wood with glass but i am removing some of the glass in favour a a mesh type material tomorrow, it is approx 18 x 12 x 20 inches approx
Lighting - i have a uvb bulb (this is a screw in bulb not a long one i think this needs to be changed) I also have a basking light but im not sure about any more details (my boyf deals with those detailsa)
Temperature - basking spot is approx 90+ at the highest and closest point
Humidity - I haven't measured humidity how can i do this? Im just misting the enclosure twice a day for 5 mins and i have a dripper into a small water bowl/collector
Plants - I dont have any live plants just plastic ones
Location - The top of the cage is approx 6 1/2 feet up as it on a cabinet, it is in the sitting room where we watch TV

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Senegal, not sure of the age i think its approx 1 year
Handling - Ive only had it 4 days and havent handled it since we brought it home i didnt want to stress it
Feeding - So far just locusts and crickets and ive ordered some dusting products to use on the crickets

I dont really have any further info the pet shop i got him from wasnt great and to be honest i just felt really sorry for him in there.

He only seems to wobble occassionaly but sometimes when he is sat still he is shaking a little bit i cant any pictures at the min but he is currently bright green although he does look slightly skinny the pet shop said when we got him he hadnt been fed for 2 days

i'd ditch the compact bulb :)
by wobbling do you mean that walk chams do putting their limb out then pulling back, putting it abit further etc or actual shakes?
just asking cus my cham walks as though hes unsure it could just be that but im no expert

lew

well he walks like hes unsure but he'l lift one foot up and sway from side to side a bit kinda like when you stand on one foot and dont have a good balance

my cham gets abit of a sway on, i think i read somewhere its to imitate the moving leaves in tree's to blend in
dont quote me though :p

brilliant he should be ok then he seems to like exploring his new home, he sits on his back legs occasionaly and gazes upwards so i think he wants to get up higher in the enclosure
