So this is my little boy, Veiled Chameleon who has an EXCELLENT personality. I thought he was a she at first too. Haha. :) anywho, i just wanted to see if anyone could take a crack and guess how old he is. I didn't ask Petsmart but he's a very happy boy. Loves to be held which is unusual, already eats Romaine from my hands. He's pretty cool. :) lastly I named him Smaug, probably would suit a Panther better but hey! He's my mini dragon. :)

I guess 3-4 months but I'm not an expert. I did have my veiled since she was only 3 inches long in total. Now she about 10 at 5 months

Yeah, I'd go for the 3.5 month mark, looks about the same size my little guy was when I got him.

I'm going to guess 4 months. I just got mine yesterday and he is 2 months and about half that size.

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure.
And now he's eating crickets out of my hand. :D

You are so lucky! Mine is still very skittish and has been hiding in a planter all morning. I just got him yesterday so I'm sure he's just settling in. I think he ate one tiny super worm yesterday.

Awww, well I've been looking for a while for a super sweet one with a good personality. I'm sure he's still adjusting.
The last veiled they had at PetSmart wasn't friendly, wasn't very social, and he was probably like 7 months old. So I went in to get my dog food, and saw him trying to crawl up the side of those little glass terrariums they put them in, and digging a hole under his water bowl. So I asked to hold him, and they let me, and he turned such a happy bright green, and then turned dark again when I had to put him back.

Thanks! Yep, I looked up how to sex them, and he does indeed have the bumps on his back heels. He really has the best personality I've seen thus far in chameleons I've looked at. I'd be more than happy to look at it :D
His nose was expelling so much excess whatever Petsmart was feeding him, but today he's doing a lot better.
I'm feeding him dusted crickets, and Romaine lettuce, but I'm bringing the fake plants back, and going to get some Pothos and maybe some Honeysuckle vine. I Have lavender growing at home but I know it's not really nutritious.
Any other plant suggestions?
