Have you made sure that Marshy is a male? (look for the tarsal spurs) If not then you've got a female and she's looking for a place to dig and lay her eggs.
You'll need to get a laying bin, I've "chameleon-sitted" many female veileds before for friends or petstores and found success with laying

This should help, look in the breeding section.
Jann also has this fantastic blog that features all you need to know about laying.https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/jannb/345-egg-laying-laying-bin.html

I feel like a dork/Idiot. Marshmallow is a female.... I have a bin in the cage now, she started digging.... laying eggs now. Wish the breeder would have listened when I said Male please. Oh well, female or male Marshy is family. we love her very much. First time we had a female chameleon at our house. :)
Thank You for help.

hi all, sorry for the late post. I was pretty busy this weekend. Marshy is doing ok, she laid a total of 12 eggs. We were very surprised that this happened. I did email the breeder but of course no answer. As of right now Mrs. Marshy is doing well. thank you all for the help and support! :D

Is Marshy eating and drinking? Twelve eggs would be a very tiny clutch for a veiled.

I checked the bin a few days after she started digging.... only 12 eggs. Worried about her now. She wont really eat... maybe 2-3 crickets a day. Tried to offer her a horn worm and sliky but no interest. Drinking ok. Anything I can do for her? :(

12 eggs is a good number of clutch not too many. Since its her first lay I believe she is exhausted! Probably weak and weary right now. I recommend trying to get her to drink some liquid calcium. Most of her calcium went to those eggs she needs to replenish her body with it. If she continues to eat less after 2/3 days from laying you might want to get her check out. For now what I would do is just provide her with ample food and leave it on her feeding cup so she will have access to it.

Hopefully she gets her energy back.
