as the title states my chameleon is hanging out at the bottom of the cage. i know for fact that he is clear on all parasites or mbd so i dont know what is going on. i looks like he is trying to escape. btw i think he is WC so that could be it? them he'll give up and climb back up and bask. i also put a new giant bougainvillea in his cage.

My male veiled does the same. Just today I notice the female is down there. I'm assuming they are exploring the cage. I have them for about a month now. They are housed together because they are juvi. I have the same set up next to their cage so I'm ready to seperate them anytime now.
Lets hope that is the case cause they both seem healthy.

thats what i think... i posted this a while ago and someone said it was because he wanted the ladies. well he wants the ladies AGAIN. btw hes about 1 yr old.

My cham has realized that crickets hide at the bottom and she hunts them down there. She is very sneaky.

he will climb up to the top and bask for a few mins and them climb down the screen and crawl on the floor and then crawl on the screen close to the ground.

now he is scratching the bottom of the cage and i know he is perfectly well bec ive seen him go to the top. now i see him hanging on the screen.

don't panic.
Take a pic of your chameleon and post it here.
While you are at it, take the pic of the whole enclosure.
