Well I think I am finally satisfied with the overall layout at this time.
I still have to install my mist king and create a dripper of sorts if not buy a little dripper online.

I also wouldnt mind finding one more live plant, to fill in the bottom some more.

What you guys say? Think I am ready for my guys arrival? Anything cause concern or should maybe be changed?

Thanks a ton, I really want to do this right and you have all helped me get this far.

I have 18" ReptiSun 5.0 & a 5000k color somethingorother UVA bulb (for my plants) I also have a Zoo Med Repti Basking 50W spot lamp sitting in a ceramic reptile lamp (I have to return the bulb because the damn filament was broken before I got it home.) Should I buy another 50W bulb or get something else? My panther will be 7 months when he arrives. The space from light to basking spots are 9.5"

Just use a 60w household bulb and you will be fine.

Also don't forget about drainage for all that water from your mistking.

Otherwise it looks great.

cool set up what kinda plant is the tall one? the small one is a unbrella right?
on a 4 foot cage 50w wont penetrate deep at all.
zoo med power sun 100w
Is to use a single mercury vapor (MV) bulb. MV bulbs contain UVB/UVA/heat all in one bulb. They require a 10” dome with a ceramic socket to handle the heat and spread the light out. Good for larger enclosures. The bulb can penetrate up to 6 feet deep. Less clutter on top of the cage. All-in-one bulb. Can get very hot. Never appropriate for juveniles. This should not be used with cages shorter than 48".

That's this ficus I got from LLLrept not too long ago. I dunno why I bough 2 lol, must have been a "routine" night and the smaller one is an umbrella cutting I got from a buddy with a greenthumb for free about a month ago now, that sucker is blowing up!.
Something to remember once I get more into this hobby, but this guy is 48". Sweet, ill just return the bulb and get my money back because I have a ton of 60W bulbs laying around the house.

Yeah and as far as drainage i am still kind of working that one out. My good friend is loaning me the stand the cage is sitting on and doesnt want to sell it to me, other wise i would drill a hole right through it and have it catch any exces water in a drip pan under the cage. I'll think of something, I have the next 3 days off.
