If he sleeps all day... Hes ill.. Take him to a vet! Guarantee you it has nothing to do with your bulb.. The coil bulbs are not damaging to their eyes these days.. Thats old news
Although yes a linear bulb would be better for fuller uv exposure.
Again, get to the vets
hiya matey...
Chams are not an easy pet to care for properly. At 14 I would have not been comfortable with much more than a hamster . After a year or two of keeping reps - and a year or research on and off i started with chams. I think as most of the others do here that you should keep them...
you dont want to squirt it into the mouth obviously as they can aspirate the liquid. just dripping it and letting the cham lick it up as they would normal water will work fine .
Hiya.. you can either -
if you have an automatic mister, fill it with warm water and leave it on for half an hour
or put the cham on a plant in the shower with the water deflecting off the wall, again leave him/ her in there for half an hour or so.
Also, as Carlton says free roaming has...
I will personally vouch for pedialyte bathing / electrolyte absorption.. There hadny been much research into its use or success with chams.. But its turned a couple of mine around when looking very ropey
if your seeing deformation in both joints , it could be mdb.. pet shops are famous for not knowing much about the reptiles they sell.. vets is required in my opinion
