check the temps. the white stuff could be salt buildup which means its too hot.

lights in the cage is a bad idea. do you mist your chameleon? electricity and water don't mix.

100w spot bulb is probably way too hot for a chameleon, unless you have it raised up a bit.

If the temp is right then sure. Good rays are always a plus for chameleons. I don't know what the humidity is there but thats also something to consider.

You might want to raise it up by putting it on a stand or something. They generally feel more comfortable if they are higher. Otherwise looks good.

Thats so true. I give everyone interested in chameleons this website. I was at petsmart the other day and I saw a poor looking jacksons chameleon. He was on a branch with his mouth open and eyes closed. It was in the same glass enclosure they keep all the amphibians and other small lizards...

i think the next theme for the contest should be manipulation. already got my entry :p
