We are unfortunately going out of the chameleon network due to financial and time restraints. Our pygmy has already found a home but we have a 4 month old female veiled still need a new place. We are asking $65 for her (+ shipping if you are not local) or $150 (+ shipping for a full set up)...
We had a baby cham in that big of a cage and it was fine until we had to feed, it is nearly impossible to feed small crickets in such a large enclosure. Works if you have good lighting/heat, but bad for feeding =/
Male is 10 months, Female is 13 months. Proven breeding pair! Will provide photos shortly. Selling for $650 + shipping obo. Will include a 175 gallon reptarium for $50 more (nearly brand new).
Thanks!
They had been housed together at a local pet store since they were "male babies" (evidetally that is a legitimate excuse?) until we received them the other day. Makes me nervous thinking they are older... I guess I need to research what to do after if/when she lays eggs!
I don't believe you have to be a reptile expert to answer the question. As a living, breathing creature chameleon have the ability to feel. They feel hungry, lonely, horny, happy, sad and pain. Although they may not recognize a happy feeling to be affection, we as humans do. They feel. They may...
And another question... #3 is BLACK. VERY VERY dark in color... Should we be concerned? We were told "she" is a "baby" but probably twice the size of #1... After researching it seems as though we should be preparing somewhere for her to lay eggs, but this young??
Would it be normal for a female veiled, aprox. 2-3 months of age to be going to the bottom of the cage constanty. We were given #1 and #3 as a pair, both sexed as males. #1 seems to be EXTREMELY active and constantly running laps, while #3 is mellow and tends to like the bottom better. We...
Well... after some research we are unsure as to what sex our veileds are... We were told that all of the below are male's, but after reading about the "spurs" on the hind feet we are lost. Help??

Photo's of 2 & 3 to come!
