Skin Lumps - what does it look like to you?

Im sad to report that the chameleon pictured above died just a few mins ago, less than 2 days after I took that photo. I think its likely to be a mixture of the fungal/virus and a lack of food, since the infection she had lost her appetite, but I had seen her still eating. :(

Skin Lumps - what does it look like to you?

Like Sandra, the skin infection got worse before it started to get any better. I have exactly the same thing with exactly the same symptons. They will tend to eat less and drink more. You need to ensure they're drinking as much as possible, Im showering every day and bathing every day at the...

How long is she being sprayed for? They will often take a few minutes to be stimulated enough to want to drink.

Skin Lumps - what does it look like to you?

Sorry to hijack your thread, but it looked exactly like what my female had right at the early stages. Since then, its spread very quickly. Id jump on that very quickly before it gets any worse :(

Is this a shedding problem? [pics]

Around 2 months ago, my cham had some type of skin issue under her kneck. It was only a small area around the size of a small coin. Pics of this can be seen here: aside from this brown skin, you can see she appeared to be really healthy looking. I spoke to a number of people who all...

    Breeding Dubia Roaches

I have had my own colony now for about 2-3 weeks. I bought a colony from ebay, which was around 150 roaches. There was around 10/15 adults (mainly females) and a few males. You should feed off the males to your chams, but try to keep one male for every four females. I cant say whether or not...

    Everybody look my renewed terrarium

Thats one of the best suggestions yet! This inturn will allow you place ALL your lights (and tubular UVB lamp) on the top, making misting safer and creating a more natural air flow through the cage.

i am thinking about starting a roach colony

Does anyone have any specific details for feeding the dubia? I have started my own small colony and would like to feed my chams from them. I understand it may take a month or so before I can actually get to that stage, but I have the patience. Any info is greatly appreciated, i.e What to...

    Everybody look my renewed terrarium

I would personally drill a large hole in the top and place your bulb on the top of the cage. If you keep all your lights out of the cage, you could put vines from opposite corners to corner. If you happen to mist your bulb for more than a few seconds with water, the bulb will explode, and as...

I've found that they actually take some time to get stimulated enough by the misting to drink. Try misting him for 5/10 mins :)
