They both appear to be females. I love my two pairs and the females are definitely the "lookers" of this species.

Are you sure that those are real CB ones ? CB tenuis are very very rare. On my first thought I knew only two guys in Europe who have breed them this year

Hi Cain thanks for your reply I had a feeling they were both female. I know the chap really well Benny he has got them from a german friend so preety sure they are CB he has never let me down in the past! I have a 60cmX45cmx60cm Exoterra that I was going to use which is extremely well planted do you think this is suitable if I go for the 2 females & get a male later as I know he has more available? Thanks Heatherx

Definitely 2 females. I keep a pair together fine in a 45x45x60 Exo-Terra so you should be fine.

I use a 6500K compact fluorescent bulb and a ReptiGlo 5.0 compact fluorescent on my exo-terras.

Hi again everyone
I now have my Tenuis, had them a week tomorrow seem to have settled really well, one is a bit shy at the moment the other very outgoing thou. So glad I have them theyre adorable. Just need to find a male now as sadly the guy I got them from may not be able to help me. Does anyone know of any breeders that may be going to Hamm as I have friends who frequently do. Also can I check my temps are ok? 26 degrees basking 22 ambient & 17 nighttime. Will try to post pics soon. Thanks so much Heatherxxx

I have to correct you on thatone Benny, there are 3, the 2 you know which i know also and myself, hehe. They are indeed very rare and not easy to hatch. I've had only 3 juveniles hatching from 10 eggs (all others died during hatching and suffocated in the egg). I hope the tweaks i've made for the incubation of the other eggs will result in better hatch rates.

best regards

Joery

Is there a third guy ? You and Tom have breed them and Micha ? I have at the moment also a gravid female, which substrate did you use for them ? I've had often bad luck with females who hide their eggs and died after this
