Kenya pygmy chameleon- Rieppeleon kerstenii

Hey all ... I'm looking at getting a couple of these chams from a LPS and was wondering if anybody else had any experience with them. I believe that they need a forest floor type terrarium with many nice thin branches and a fairly high humidity. I'm thinking that a 20 gal. with a screen lid would do.

I also want to ensure that there is a male and female before purchasing ... does anybody know how to sex them? Unfortunately I haven't been able to find very much info on the net about them.

Thanks ... Dyesub Dave.

I'm sorry I dont have much information on them.
I did have an idea though.
I think this thread would be a great cannidate for Chameleon Genera area of the forum.
Future reference.

If this was in english it would be great!

Nick Mole from First Choice Reptiles might have some information on them.
I know he had/has them, but he would be a go to guy on most African chameleons

Hey .. thanks for the replies. I just called the store that's selling them to check the scientific name and found out that they're Rhampholeon temporalis. They just had on the cage Kenya Pygmy Chameleon so I'm going to do a search for this scientific name now to see what I can find.

Anybody have experience with the TEMPORALIS pygmies??

Thanks ... Dyesub Dave.
