Indentify

I'm sorry I didn't know wwhere to put this. But I have noticed these little guys every so often around our front door and I tried to get a good picture so bare with me. They look like very small orange mantises. I live in Houston Texas BTW

That is an assassin bug.

They are ambush predators, similar to mantids.

They have two long "feelers" in the front, those sting the prey.

They can sting you, and its supposedly quite unpleasant.

I do not feed these.

I'm actually really relieved to have found this out. I went to go shoo one of those away from my pillow a long long time a go when I was like 8 at an outdoor camp. And I was like some crazy bug just stung me! Good to know what it is though, I won't kill it
