Hunger strike or getting close to birth?

I have a year old Jackson who to the best of my knowledge has been gravid for at least 3 mos now. It could have been longer as the forum Identified it before I did and I had her for at least 6 mos before that.

In the last few weeks I have noticed that her eating has dropped off. I put a silk worm in her cage last week and she hammer 3 of them straight off. In the last few days she just looks at her feeders and will not stalk them. She has dropped at least 4 slugs and I have not seen any more for the last month.

Yeasterday was the first day that she did not eat any of her crickets, and I have read elsewhere in the forum that when other chams get close to laying eggs, they will stop eating. will this be true with Jackson as they get close to dropping their babies?

wondering so that I can get the new abode ready.

ANY opinion is welcome

Jackson= live birth
No egglaying container is required.

You correct, they will go off food a few days before giving birth, so be ready!
They usually give birth first thing in the morning.
Sounds like she is due for babies!
Good luck and have fun
