Here is my dusting scheduele, does this look right?

Monday - Calcium w/ D3
Tuesday - Herptive Vitamins
Wednesday - Calcium w/o D3
Thursday - Herpitive Vitamins
Friday Calcium w/D3
Saturday - Calcium w/o D3
Sunday - No Dusting

Does that look good? How exactly much of this stuff do I use on the crix?

excellent.
Dust the cricket so it is LIGHTLY coated.
Avoid making your crickets looked like white crawling ghosts.

Yea, that looks pretty good.
I know you have a very young veiled chameleon, so like dodolah said, "light".
They dont need to look like little cricket ghost.
You also need to dust only 2/3 of the feeders.
You also need to be very careful when you are giving D3 twice a week.
Dust about 1/2 the feeders on D3 days.
D3 can kill your chameleon in large amounts.

I would replace one of the multi vitamin days with another calcium no D3 day .... but now I'm just being picky!:)

Once he gets to be 6 months old or so, you will want to cut back on the D3 and multi-vit.

I use them every couple of weeks ... but with a baby, Some people advise to give them a little bit more .... just for the 1st few months.

Yea, I got one for you guys.
How in the world do you get into a supplement scheduel when your Veileds like Brad R. and mine just dont want to eat.
It is so frustrating!
Here is how it works for me.
yesterday he didnt eat and it was his calcium w D3 day, but today is is vitamin day.
Which one should i use....hmmm.... Calcium.....
So, he eats one super worm today, so I will give him his vitamin tomorrow.
Then he dosent the next day so.......what should i give him?????
This is an ongoing issue:mad:

Okay for now that he is 3 months. Should cut back when he is 5/6 mo.

That's what I am doing.

We were probably responding all together!!

My cham (Izzy) is a piggy! He eats like a bull? So is he still a cham??

I can understand your problem Justin. I hope not get in that situation!

How old is your veiled?

Mine is almost 5 months. I have built him a new cage and I put him him in there a couple of times a week (with two doors and no plants) just so he gets used to it and doesn't go on hunger strike once he moves in permanently. Lets see how it works...

My veiled is about 3 months old, just got him on thursday!

Here is what i do:

cutting back is made by reducing the amount of food that you give.
Not changing the schedule.
After 6 months of age: I cut the food intake from 12-18 crix to 6 crix.
After 1 year: I fed my cham every other day. 10 crix (with that feeding schedule, he only get 1 multivit, 1 calc no d3, and 1 calc with d3/ week.

just remember, the dusting should not be heavy.
