Hornworms!!!

Hello all,

I have a few question where do you guys order your hornworms from? Murberry farm?

Also who here is breeding them? I read up on how to breed them and you would need a 18x18x36 box. I was thinking about just using a mesh or reptarium cage. Or if I can just use a 30 gallon long aquarium with screen lid.

The article that I read didn't really say much about the temperture? Is room temp ok for breeding?

Why do you have to paint the black bulb blacker? Can't I just use a heat emmiter at 25 watts?

I wanted to order 4 cup with 1 lb food, and also some phoenix worms. Should I skip on the bag of food and make my own?

The pods contain enough food for the worms, but would be wise to pick up extra dry mix, if your planning to raise to cocoons.

yeah Im planning on breeding hornworms. I just introduce superworm and my veiled loves it! At the moment I'm working on roaches, and waiting for my superworms to get bigger so I can rear them also. Would like silkworms but the hornworm interest me more.
