Found a few feeders while hiking today. Found two cool looking mantis cases that I'll have to try and ID.

Awesome What do you look for when you find mantis cases? I think it would be awesome to find a mantis ooth

Just look for them attached to dead branches in wilderness areas. Seems to work for me.

cool, definitely not your chinese mantis ooth, i bet if you posted that pic(+ location) on mantid forum.net that it would be id'd in 15 min. might be handy to know before they hatch out. sweet find. jmo

I used to find those all the time and never realized what they were. I will be looking now and probably never see one.
