So I blended up and froze a large batch of home made gutload that I'm currently using for 3/8 inch crickets. In the mixture I put: an apple, orange, sweet potato, and some carrots and romaine lettuce.

Problem is I cant tell if the crickets are eating it. I only have 60 3/8th inch crickets in there with the gut load, and I don't know they're not eating it because I put ingredients they won't eat, or if they ARE eating it and I just can't tell because they are too small and their is not enough of them to eat enough of it for me to notice. I've tried putting realy small ammounts of the gutload in there to try and make it easier to tell if any has dissapeared, but havn't been able to tell one way or the other.

When I tried using the flukers high calcium diet I could definately tell they were eating it. I have a shipment of 500 crickets coming tomorrow, so I want to make sure I have it ready if I need to make a different recipe!

Can anyone tell me if I used ingredients the crickets won't eat or if it's just that they are just too small to make a dent in what I'm offering?
