I've been reading this board for a while but just registered and am putting together a panther setup. I appreciate the information being shared here and the passion you have for these creatures. I hope to reciprocate very soon.

Thank you for the nice welcome, I've been scanning the links and think I've found a new enclosure option with the homemade PVC and mesh scenario. I like to build as many things myself as possible and that option would allow for some adjustments as plants grow over time. I'll post my progress...

Yes finally an update to this thread. Jumped in with both feet, with a re-named nosy be adult (George b/c happily he is a very curious sort). One bird cage, aqua zamp, assorted lights and a pothos later - we are in business. He is eating and settling in fine after a shaky start trying to try and free range him in a large focus. Just too curious for that so he remains confined.

I will post regular updates for those interested souls. Stay tuned!

Looks good from what I can. How are you liking the bird cage. I was looking into that but changed my mind.

So far I love it, very easy access great ventilation, lots of options for plants and vines and easy to clean. Tried to attach a better pic- let me know what you think. I was lucky to find two matching cages fairly cheap.
