he was left for dead at the vets-- born w/ part of his brain exposed, missing his hard, and soft pallet - and very tiny- so they call me- you just know I had to say "yes, I will take him " 5 mos of tube feeding while we waited for him to get big enough for his surgery, his skull healed on its own.
well, that was all one yr ago - and just look at him now :D he still needs 1 more surgery, to fix a repair on his pallet, but everything else is completely healed - you would never know anything was every wrong with him :D he is the best little guy , I feel blessed to have a had a part in his becoming a beautiful dog

thanks guys- he really is a great dog, and I could not just turn my back - and I love to hep the "underdogs" - lol ( and under cats, under chams.... :p )

You really have done a great job with him and he is adorable. And no, I still won't take him after his last surgery. My dogs are to rough and tumble, I would not be able to ever allow that baby any more pain. i an still amazed that your big dogs never hurt him. I think he should stay with you. After you have a couple, what is one more? And he is really small..........

What an amazing little dog! My husband and I were both so touched when we read that and saw his pictures. You are truly a wonderful person for opening up your heart and home to animals in need of help!
