Gravid Colours

I have a nearly 4 month old female Flap-necked cham. I've read in a couple of places that they can become gravid from 5 or 6 months, so I wanted to get the information well in advance! What colours would a gravid Flap-neck show?

I only have experience with the dilepis dilepis and not any of the other sub-species. I've noted dark greens / black background with yellow spots when gravid (pregnant) and the girls to be bright emerald / lime green with yellow or orange spots when receptive (ready to mate).

As I mentioned in your other thread and you've probably seen it written on many other posts; but always keep a bucket of playsand or dirt in the cage with the female so they do not become eggbound.

My not-quite-so-little-anymore Flapneck gal is almost a year old and I have yet to see her become receptive or start cycling for eggs.

Hope this helps somewhat.
