Fruitfly Size question
What species and size of fruitfly do I need to get to make sure they don't escape from my fine mesh cage? I picked up a new 3 week old male veiled, and I need something for the lil guy to eat.

Each culture, how long do they last? I mean, if I get the 5 culture deal from Fly Cafe, how long will it keep so I can feed my 3 week old male and my 6 month old female? Should I just place the culture inside the enclosure and let them feed at will?

Each culture has a couple hundred when you buy them...but you will get more by the day. What I do...is tap the lid,so they all fall to the bottom... then I pour a few to a plastic bag to dust. They dont fly so just get as many as you like.

lol I just didnt want them to go to waste. So I'll just get 1 culture. Think toads will eat them? My girlfriend just adopted a small lil toad about 1 1/2 inches long. Cute lil thing.
