First Vet Trip

So our first vet appointment is today at 10! I found a certified reptile vet from the listings available on this forum. Hopefully all goes well and thank-you for all your advice. Update later!

Well my chameleon didn't die like I had thought. She was fine except for the vet handling her. I have been posting here concerned about all these things wrong with my cham and as it turns out she does have a bunch of various parasites and they treated her with a broad spectrum dewormer and gave me some to give her in two weeks. I reviewed my cage and temperatures with her, brought pictures, and everything else is fine. Hopefully my little carpet stops being brown and shows some pretty colors soon

That's great!
Getting those parasites under control will make her feel a lot better. I wouldn't be surprised at all is her colors start improving soon.

Good luck with her!

The vet did prescribe panacur. She diluted that and the next dose and gave it to me in a syringe. A list would be cool but no luck.

I put her back in her cage and 5 minutes later her 75 Watt Zoo Med basking lightbulb exploded and she was sitting right under it. She's had a longgg day. I replaced the bulb and am going to hang it.
