I have had my jackson female for two days now and she hasnt eaten any crickets yet. I know she needs to get comfortable but I want her to eat. I have just been putting 3 -5 crickets in her cage and letting them roam. Is this wrong?

Are the crickets the right size? No bigger than the space between theis eyes. How big is your viv? Could it be too big that she can't find them? Have you tried cup feeding?

Welcome to the forums! My Jackson's (male) at like 3 crickets when I first got him and then he didn't eat for a couple days. It's not uncommon for them not to eat for a while. I let him get situated and then he started eating like normal. I cup feed and let him hunt. By the way he loves Phoenix worms. I just put them on leaves with some tweezers and let him eat em' up. Id recommend live plants and plenty of vines too. He loves it a lot more now that there's plenty of foliage and options. Good luck and if you need anything pm me!

The cage is a 2' 2' 3'. She has a lot of vines and artificial plants. I'm goin to look around for some real plants. How do I cup feed? The guy at the pet store told me to just throw some crickets in  she also has been digging in the corner a bit and it is 80 degrees in her basking spot and 70% humidity.
Thanks for your help!

The trouble with " throw some crickets in " is that you don't know how many are left in the viv at night therefore they loose their gutload and can annoy your Cham while she is sleeping. Th cup feed use a small deli cup that the crickets can't get out of, and wedge it into some vines or just hold it for a while till he gets used to it. The only problem with leaving cup in viv is that depending where it is the crickets could drown when mister comes on.:D

Would a regular "kegger/party" cup work for cup feeding? I dont own a glue gun and wont be getting one until at least the weekend but im sick of not knowing how many crickets my lil guy is eating.
