Hello

I read much here in the forum for fodder insects.
But, I find in each case crickets, horn- silk- superworms and redeyes .
And naturally meadows-plankton .

Do you have really no more else ?

So ,i ll give you a list of usualy feeders in germany .
The most of them are easily to breed.

But ,,dont think ,everybody in Germany breeds by himself ..
So you can sell them by every feeder-seller or at shows.
And ,i know ,your law says no to some animals, so i think ,that can be sometimes a problem for you.

Lets start:

Blaberus craniifer
Blaptica dubia
Ectobius vittiventris
Gromphadorrhina portentosa
Nauphoeta cinerea
Pycnoscelus surinamensi

and

Panchlora nivea a very interesting roaches for fodder-refusing chamäleons

Acheta domesticus
Gryllus assimilis
Gryllus bimaculatus

Schistocerca gregaria
Locusta migratoria

Alphitobius diaperinus
Bruchus quadrimaculatus
Pachnoda ssp.
Tenebrio molitor
Zophobas morio

Galleria mellonella
Achroea grisella
Chilecomadia moorei ( not able to breed )

Drosophila melanogaster
Drosophila hydei

Musca domestica , Terfly
Lucillia caesar
Calliphora erythrocephala
( This bigger flys usually will be buyed as larvae, breeding smells ....)

Acyrthosiphon pisum

Thermobia domestica

Collembola ssp.

Mantids
Phasmids

And ,naturally meadows-plankton ( tis means every critter, you can catch outside ..)

Hornworms and silkworms as feeders are unknown, maybee you ar so lucky for buying a few eggs of silkworms ,but never your tomato/tobaco-hormworms

If you want to hear you more over the individual cultures, please let me know

Greetings Nobby

Many keepers on this forum use a far wider selection of bugs than just crickets, hornworms, silkworms and superworms. :) But you're right, many places have laws prohibiting invasive insects.

Many of the ones I find commonly talked about by forum members are listed here:
https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/74-feeders.html

It would be great if you'd like to add, through a comment, to that list any favourites you have - plus links to information about those as well.

Hi Sandra

Exactly what I looked for.

thanks a lot
