Dusting schedule:
mon/wed/thur/fri- repcal herptivite
tues/sat- mineral o 2x- week
sun- nothing

Feeders: crix, working on getting house flys and mantids
Gutloads: esu rep gutload, working getting better comercial and homemade
Temps: ambient about 80-84+ basking 84+ not using heat lamp
caging: plastic tub, plastic plants, paper towels
water: hand misting, once an hour for about 30 secs, misting once a day untill i see him drink, then about 5 mins while watching him drink
uv: 2.0 8 inches away and natty so cal sun between 10-2 4 hrs/wk

received animal just fine, looked a little skinny to me, and one eye was staying closed while the other was not,

day two noticed way skinnier than i liked, and housed it from 6-5pm outdoors, the cage was half in shade and half in sun during the 10-2 hrs
he was in the direct sun for hours at a time. i had 8 drip nozzles going, and a lot of horizontal space .

i noticed a blotchy shed starting and noticed him drinking.

fed dusted crix about 8 1/4inch didnt see it eat but crix were gone by next day

found out how hott it was getting out side in the 90's. he was basking but not gaining weight so i took him from out side.

it will close eyes and sleep for an hour or two at random, i think hes shutting down from the heat.

also doesnt seem to support himself as much as i would like off the branch with his legs, kinda laying on the branch
saw him eat, drink, and still has blotchy shed, inside temp about 84, im freezing water bottles and putting them in taking it down to ambient 80 give or take, working on getting it down to have half the tub stay are 77-78.

dusted single crick with reptivite - waiting to see if this help the eyes, and blotchy shed.

what are you guys seeing and doing with yours in comparison to mine and how are they doing?
