Yup! It was about 1.5-2' away, the farthest I have ever seen her(or any of my chams for that matter) shoot! Usually when she is fed she likes to get close <10", so it surprised me quite a bit :)

Wow that was very cool. Must of gone to sniper school lol. That sure was a long shot. She wanted to make sure that one didnt get away. The mantis saw her and tried to take off but he was way too slow :D
 
Thanks everyone :) Feeding off mantis is a lot of fun! I feel like you always get the best reaction from your chams with them.

Oh geez Laurie, now I have to think :p I'd say 3-4 months maybe a bit longer... She is amazing, and surprisingly the best eater I have. Never ever refuses food even after a superworm!

Benton, they are hibiscus that you see in that section, before i put them in there they were practically dead.. But under the t5ho arcadia and 6500k they came right back and have to be trimmed down almost weekly!
