Really cool!!! Congrats!

Thanks jared. they are really cool im havin a blast keepin these an lookin forward to gettin a few more of diff kinds figured id wait till i knew what i was doin, from all ive read they should be sproutin front legs soon..
I gotta get pics of there bellies.
if anyone has pics from tad to froglets id love to see em and if youve raised up tads an have a guess from the pics how much longer ?

I used to breed leucomelas, it was fun but a lot of work. I have to keep them all separate because they would cannibalize each other.

very cool!! thanks for sharein.. i can see how it can be work once they start with droppin eggs/tads there like machines....

Kewl.
Good luck!

I give away all the eggs mine produce - WAY too much time /effort for me atm.

curious - what are you feeding your tads?

it does take some time but not really alot an effort isnt much cept droppin a lil food in a cup every few days an keepin water topped off an takin a lil baster to suck up waste
im feedin them the java moss, tadpole bites an i sprinkle a lil spurlina think its called, an i also use this flake fish food.. this is all stuff i read works an seems to be workin..
I haveta say it has really been neat watchin them turn from egg to tads an now havin back legs. one the best things about em they dont take up that much room.

These are awesome Rob. How long do darts live? They look great, and love seeing the tads. It's funny this past weekend my Dad was over, he couldn't care less about my chams or geckos....,but looking at one of my naturalistic vivs says "when you getting darts?" Apparently he loves darts....who knew?!?

All i can say is AWESOME!!!!

It is really cool watchin these first two morph into lil froglets!!!

Those are adorable. I always heard they are difficult and hard to raise. You actually hatch them out? How long did you have them before the tadpoles? I just think that is the coolest thing I have seen lately!!.

Hiyas laurie
they arnt hard to raise so far i bought an adult wc pair last jan an after a few months they started layen eggs in the petri dish that the coco hut sits above it, while the eggs always molded over after awhile a couple eggs turned into tadpoles an then a few more so now this is the first two tad poles that now have turned into froglets
They really are pretty cool watchin it happen, looks like ima have a steady supply of eggs an tads from this adult pair.
im lookin forward to gettin a few diff kinds in the near future, an i recomend them to people that really been thinkin bout gettin em there a blast.
